Xbox Expands ‘Stream Your Own Games’ Feature with Major August 2025 Lineup Update

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is launching a major update to its “Stream Your Own Games” feature in August 2025, adding 100 exciting new titles. This service allows subscribers to stream games they already own — as long as they aren’t part of the current Game Pass library — to supported devices through Cloud Gaming.
Originally introduced in November 2024 for Xbox Insiders, the feature later expanded to Xbox One and Series X|S consoles for Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead testers. By April 16, 2025, Microsoft rolled it out to all Game Pass Ultimate members, removing it from the Insider-only phase.
The August 2025 update brings a wide range of mostly indie titles, including standout games like A Short Hike, SOMA, Tetris Effect: Connected, and Five Nights at Freddy’s 1–4. With this expansion, Ultimate members who own these games can stream them on devices such as iOS and Android phones, VR headsets, and Windows PCs — while also earning Microsoft Rewards points when playing on PC.
